BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Foster Sayers is General Counsel for Vertex Railcar Corporation. He has spent most of his career combining corporate law and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Vertex, he was CEO of his own start up, AgileQR, which provided software solutions that Foster and his co-founder invented and patented. Foster has a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and bachelor’s degrees in International Politics and Japanese from Penn State University. Foster speaks Japanese, French and Mandarin. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Erin Voirol is the Chief Executive Officer (COO) for Corporate America Supports You (CASY) and the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN), two unique non-profit organizations that provide employment readiness and job placement assistance for all veterans, military spouses, National Guard and reserves, transitioning military, and caregivers of war wounded. Erin has been an Army spouse for 19 years. Having no previous experience with military life, Erin quickly adapted to the life of a military spouse. She is an entrepreneur, military family activist, and civic leader, and holds a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Prior to CASY & MSCCN, Erin spent the last eighteen years working in many different Military Family and local civic programs and has ten years of experience as an Army Family Readiness Group Leader. Her careers in broadcasting, administration, and marketing have prepared her well for her current position as an advocate for military spouse and veteran employment. She serves on various military spouse program boards, is a member of the Association of the United States Army, Army Aviation Association of America, and the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps Association. Erin has received numerous awards for her service in working with Military Families, including the “Order of Our Lady of Loreto” award, Ft. Riley’s “Volunteer of the Year Award”, and the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps “Keeper of the Flame” award, and was nominated as Military Spouse of the Year for Flagship News in the Hampton Roads area. Erin has a passion for helping those who are in need, particularly those within the military community. Through her personal experiences and years of service work, she understands the struggles that spouses, families, and veterans face during their service and serves as a dedicated advocate for military family support.

Chris Cancialosi, Partner and Founder of gothamCulture, is a recognized expert in the field of leadership and organizational development with particular focus on the leader’s role in shaping high-performing culture. Chris’ work with senior leaders across industries and sectors centers on large-scale organizational transformation initiatives aimed at creating and sustaining effective change. An experienced advisor with a reputation for providing critical insights and engaging, customized solutions, Chris effectively combines his operational field experience with his knowledge of organizational psychology to provide unique and practical solutions to today’s ever changing business landscape. Working with clients such as Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, JetBlue Airways, Defense Logistics Agency, Marriott International, Nando’s South Africa, Virgin, and New York City’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Chris has leveraged the concepts of human behavior to enhance business performance while improving people’s lives through association and collaboration. Knowing that an organization’s success hinges on its people, Chris finds distinct ways to engage groups in ways that yield bottom-line results. Prior to founding gothamCulture, Chris held leadership positions in both internal and external consulting roles at JetBlue Airways and Human Performance Systems, where his work focused on leader development, organizational culture, and performance improvement. Chris also served as a commissioned officer in the US Army spending two years leading troops in combat operations in Iraq. Performing in leadership roles as a battalion operations officer and as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot, Chris has a unique perspective about operations and people that he brings to his current client work and research. Chris served, for five years, as a member of the adjunct faculty of the Department of Psychology at Montclair State University, in New Jersey, where he supported the state’s first program minor in leadership studies. In 2012, Chris received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from MSU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Chris was also named as a finalist by the National Veteran Owned Business Association for Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year, in 2012 and runner-up in 2013. Both Chris and gothamCulture, have appeared in numerous media outlets such as Crain’s New York Business, Inc. Magazine Online and NBC’s Nightly News w/ Brian Williams. Dr. Cancialosi regularly presents at professional conferences and workshops. His research and writing is centered on organizational culture and customer loyalty. His volunteer work includes significant contributions of skills-based pro-bono work with non-profits through the Billion Plus Change program. Chris holds a PhD in organizational psychology.

Marshall M. “Will” Williams is a highly skilled executive and principal advisor with a demonstrated record of leading large scale projects from inception to successful completion. Will currently serves as the Executive Director of Military Affairs for Home Savings and Trust Mortgage, a principal VA loan mortgage bank. He was most recently the Chief of Staff and Director of Sector Operations for the Support Solutions (S2) Sector at BAE Systems, a global Aerospace and Defense Company. As a direct report to the Sector President, he assisted in the strategic development and operational performance of this $4+ billion business as part of his daily responsibilities. Will gained extensive experience in marketing and corporate communications while working for BAE Systems and earlier in his career, he mastered Congressional engagements, Pentagon senior leader engagements, project management and campaign plans while working at General Dynamics corporate headquarters in its Government Relations department. Before this, Will served as an Army Sergeant Major serving in a multitude of jobs with increasing responsibilities. In his final assignment, Will served in the Pentagon as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the 19th Secretary of Defense, William J. Perry and then again for the 20th Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen. Will holds a bachelor's degree in Management, a master’s degree in Management, and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Development, all from National-Louis University. He obtained each with honors. Will is a member of several professional and military-related organizations, including the American Legion (Post #177), the Association of the US Army (AUSA), the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), and the US Black Engineers Association. He is Chair of the Programs and Operations Committee, World Board of Governors, Board Member for Pets for Patriots LLC, United Service Organization and currently serves as a member of Vets for National Security Foundation, The Fisher House Foundation, and National Defense Industrial Association.

Nicole is a business owner who chose entrepreneurship for the flexibility, control, and creativity it allowed her while living the military spouse lifestyle. Nicole graduated with a B.A. in Corporate Communications from Bryan College in Dayton, TN before starting her two businesses, Nicole Marie Hope Photography and Areté Tea and Coffee. She is passionate about business and pushing military spouses to think outside the box when deciding on their own careers. It is this passion that led her to co-found The Milspo Project, an organization that empowers and educates military spouse entrepreneurs, in 2014. When she is not working on a new project, she can be found hiking with her husband and overgrown pitbull puppy or reading a new book. nicole@themilspoproject.com
