Milspreneur's Business Name and Info: KR Design

Kristen Robinson is a passionate military spouse who started her own boutique marketing agency in 2010. Realizing that she loved social media more than any service she offered, she decided that her company would only offer social media services when she PCS from Jacksonville, NC to Kaneohe, HI. Now, she speaks all over the country helping entrepreneurs with social media. Last year, many military spouses wanted to know how she did it: having a successful business from home, traveling (sometimes more than her husband), and still make time to be involved with her husband's unit. Kristen began mentoring other military spouses and realized that there were other military spouses who would like to know this information. In December 2014, Kristen hosted the Military Spouse Summit, the FIRST virtual 3 day event only for military spouse entrepreneurs. She followed up with the Military Women In Business Summit this past June, a virtual event for military spouses, veterans, and women in the military who aspired to be entrepreneurs. The Military Women In Business Summit was the first of its kind and Kristen continues to innovate the military spouse space with events such as these.

Kristen has received many entrepreneur accolades such as the National Association Professional Women (NAPW) Woman of the Year Award in 2012 and 2014 Pacific Business News Woman To Watch Award. She is also active in the business community serving as Business Network International (BNI) Director in 2012-2014 and hosting 6 Figure Business Day in November 2013, attracting 40 attendees and educating them on how to achieve a 6 figure business with 9 of her trusted colleagues as speakers.

The Milspo Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that educates and empowers military spouse entrepreneurs.
