Who are Milspo Project members?
We are like you, mostly women, young, old, and in-between. We are parents, makers, spouses, creatives, retailers, coaches, service providers, artists, go-getters, and doers. We believe we can harness what military life has taught us about patience and perseverance, and leverage it into successful businesses. We have grit, period. Most importantly, we believe military life is a gift because it has a way of honing our souls day-in and day-out, which ultimately helps us get closer to the person we are meant to become.
Are there any leadership opportunities as a member?
Heck ya! After becoming a Milspo Project member, you have the opportunity to apply to become a MP Ambassador. As an ambassador, you are able to host quarterly Gatherings as a Milspo Project representative and fill a number of volunteer roles for our organization. Ambassadors sign up to take an online course on the Who, What, and Why of Milspo Project, where you will learn more about our origin story, our 7-year plan, and our mission, vision, and values. The course can be taken at your own pace over two weeks.
Are there any other resources for those who aren't quite ready to be a FULL member?
You bet! If you are thinking Milspo Project might be right for you and would like to receive Milspo Project workbooks and goal sheets to your inbox each month, you may do so with an annual $27 investment through our MP Incubator membership. Also, check out the free downloads throughout our site.
How does Milspo Project use membership dues?
Milspo Project is a verified 501(c)-3 non-profit organization. We invest membership dues into all Milspo Project's operations, member programs and resources. Check out our Praise + Progress report to learn more about our commitment to financial transparency.
Can I sell my [Fill in the blank] to Your members?
Milspo Project, in particular our private membership group, is a place for any military spouse running a business to gain support, ask questions, get feedback and discuss issues they may be facing in their business and military life.
Generally, if it concerns entrepreneurship or business topics you can talk about it in our member area. You're welcome to share your social pages, blogs, and websites for feedback, but direct promos are prohibited. Anyone who posts self-promotional stuff may be asked to leave without warning.
We value creating a harmonious online-member space, where people genuinely feel safe to share without fear of reprisal, being spammed, or having ideas poached.
Are there any opportunities to showcase my business as a member?
Absolutely! Once you become a member, you have the opportunity to submit your application for Spouse Stories. You are also featured in your MP Welcome Video you post to our online Mastermind groups. There are also other opportunities to be featured on our site, blog, and at events throughout the year. Ready to join?
